My 16lb Springer 7/4/09
Here's my 16lb springer that i caught in the Steps Pool on a salmo. Myself and Newtyle Ghillie Gordon Pollock had 2 hours fishing Steps on the 7th and between us we hooked 6 fish. 1 Springer and 2 Kelts were landed the other 3 were never seen.A rise in the water on tuesday night cououred the water up and only really started clearing on the 11th.

17 lb Springer Landed 30/3/09
Here's Newtyle Regular Mr Allan Rennie with his 2nd springer landed on monday. His 1st fish weighed 13lbs and this lovely fish weighed 17lbs. Both fish were taken from the boat.Thats us now on 15 springers for the season which is slightly above average
