Here's Newtyle regular Mr Allan Rennie with our 3rd salmon landed today. Allan's fish took a salmo in the cotter bay.

A special mention to Allan as this season has been his best season on newtyle with 10 salmon landed in just 15 days fishing. Just goes to show whats possible when you know the water well.

Tay Salmon landed Hen Fish 9lbs 08/10/10

Here's my first of two fish landed to day at Newtyle. This fish took a harled kynoch this morning in the ferry pool. My camera battery's died so I was unable to get footage of the second fish. Which was a grilse of 3lb caught in fiddlers on the same lure in the afternoon. Both fish were safely realesed.
