Mr Calum McRoberts ended a superb days Spring Salmon fishing by landing this 7lb sea liced fish which he hooked in the Steps pool. Calum fished the Tummel below Pitlochry dam this morning before he went to work, and landed 3 springers up to 20lb. Good work Calum

Mr Johnston Stewart landed this 7lb Springer from the Cotter on Saturday afternoon and Mr David Andrew landed an 11lb fish from the Ferry Pool in the morning. We landed 6 fish this week and managed to connect with a further 9 which fell off......

7lb Tay Salmon

Some of you may remember Mr Hans Abrahamsson who fished on Scotland's big 4 for the first time last year, and whilst fishing on Newtyle, caught a 16lb fish from the Cotter in October. He managed to catch Salmon on all 4 rivers, the biggest being the Newtyle fish. Today he caught his first ever Scottish Springer, again, from the Cotter this afternoon. Well done Hans.

8lb & 12lb Tay Salmon

Mr Ed May senior landed this 12lb sea liced topper from the Ferry Pool this afternoon. Ed hails from New Jersey and is on a father-son fishing holiday. This is the first Atlantic Springer that Ed has caught.
Mr Robert Moore landed an 8lb Springer fron the Dean's Burn on a Salmo this morning and Mr Jack Hopper lost 2 fish from the other boat

Mr Jack Hopper landed this sea liced Spring Salmon this afternoon from the neck of the Trap. Jack is 88 and has not fished a lot in recent years. This is his first of 3 days on Newtyle so hopefully there are a few more fish to be landed for Jack, who is fishing with the Dobson party. Well done sir!

Mr Roddy Potter fishing Newtyle for the first time in 30 years, landed two fly caught 10lb Springers today from the Cotter pool. We only have this picture, as a fellow angler was passing at the time, and the other fish was landed when Roddy was alone. Aurora Cascade was the winning pattern and 1 of the fish was sea liced

Mr Ian Shaw landed his biggest ever Salmon spinning the Steps Pool today, the fish was 41" long,was weighed at 27lb and was sporting long tailed sea lice!. Well done Ian
