They dropped into Newtyle for a few hours, had a cast or 2 then made us all a delicious fish supper..nice!

The 2nd, pictured, was caught from the Boil in the afternoon and he landed a fish of similar size from the Dean's burn in the morning, Rob's first Newtyle fish..Both caught on the fly. Also pictured is a fly caught Permit which Rob caught in Belize a few years ago...Awesome!

7lb Tay Salmon
3 generations of anglers out in the boat today. Grandfather Harvey Burnston and his son Martin along with grandson Jake, all played fish. Alas we only managed to land the 1.
This fresh 7lb beauty from the Cotter was landed by Martin and is his 1st ever Salmon. Harvey lost a good fish from the Alders and Jake lost another from the Cotter.
The other boat also lost a fish from the Cotter....
The water was still very dirty and sitting at 3ft 8 this morning. It rose 2" during the day but cleared a little. Looking good for the rest of the week.....At last
