Well today was the day when the 100th salmon of our season was landed. Myself fishing the tail of the cotter with my new favourite fly the Calvin Shrimp the fly swung round over the last rock and a solid pull later fish on. The fish thought hard and deep and was finally landed in the boil. 14lbs of autumn salmon.
The new Mackenzie DTX had another good day out now had 3 fish on it in less than 4 hours of fishing.
I think Ross MacDonald has managed to create another killer with the deadly pattern, if you thought the Park Shrimp was amazing just wait until to have a go with the Calvin.
