Calling all Ghillies and Boatmen! The inaugural Trout & Salmon's Ghillies Rowing Championship will be held on the world-famous Junction Pool on Sunday 2nd May. This exciting new event is open to all ghillies and boatman as well as people employed within the salmon fishing industry. We are delighted to announce the event will be sponsored by Dalmore whiskey.
The race will be held over a set distance on the famous Junction Pool. Competitors will compete during Sunday afternoon to record the fastest time over the 150 metre upstream course. The rowers that register the two fastest times during the competition will go through to the final at 4.15pm to decide the overall champion. The winner will receive a collectable 18 year old bottle of The Dalmore plus £100 prize money. Runner up will receive a 15 year old bottle of The Dalmore.
