Mr George Portis landed a lovely 12lb Tay Springer on the flee this afternoon from the Steps Pool. George was giving his new 18ft Bruce and Walker Norway its 1st outing and christened it with a stunning springer, elsewhere a couple of kelts were also landed.

16lb Springer Landed Today

Here is Mr Peter Le Cheminant with his 16lb springer landed on the harl today. Peter has been on the Tay for 3 days this week and has landed a springer on each day of his trip.(2 @ Newtyle, 1 @ Stobhall) This is a great achievement by anyones standards at this time of year. Peter is fishing the beat as a guest of Mr David Yeates party and as a party they have landed 4 springers in their last 4 days fishing. Very well done
